Our live scan services are essential for determining the suitability of individuals for
employment, volunteer work with children, the elderly, or the disabled, including within
adoption agencies.
Services will Include
1. Criminal Background Verification: Employees undergo a thorough criminal
background check through the California DOJ, involving fingerprint submission for an in-
depth examination of any prior criminal history.
2. Child Abuse Central Index (CACI) Verification: Employees in child care facilities
must be verified against the Child Abuse Central Index to ensure no records of child
abuse.
3. Out-of-State Child Abuse Verification (OSCA): For those who have lived outside
California in the past five years, we conduct additional checks against out-of-state child
abuse and neglect registries.
4. Criminal Record Waiver: Individuals with convictions beyond minor traffic violations
must obtain a waiver from the Care Provider Management Branch (CPMB) to work in
community care facilities. We assist with the waiver process, including thorough review
and documentation submission.
